Data Conversion from
Former Software
Your current customers and rentals can be easily converted to the file formats of The Ultimate.
There are Two Methods Available
Some software's are restricted in that a backup must be sent to Premiere where the conversion is performed and your newly converted data is returned either by Email or overnight Mail.
However, with our vast experience at performing data conversions of many older and current software, we can simply provide you with on-site utilities which can be run on the same computer in which the old software resides. This will read the current files and build up the new files for The Ultimate, so there is absolutely NO "data down time" and your files are completely up to date! Please note that this method in no way affects your old files. This way you can have both software's running at the same time (if desired) while becoming trained on The Ultimate. Sometimes we will ask you to send us a backup so we can do a "dress rehearsal" to make sure that software versions are matched.

Software name in Red - Conversion must be run at our office and data sent back to you by Express mail or email.
Software name Underlined - Click to see exactly which FIELDS are able to be converted. Many times if a field listed cannot be converted it is because your current software did not include that field in the first place. The exact files needed to perform the conversion are also listed.Over the years, we have converted several "home made" software systems. We cannot guarantee exactly which fields can be converted until we see a backup of your system. We will review your backup with no obligation and no charge.
Cost of the Service
Only $150.00 total for the Customer and Rental Conversion. If you desire to have only one of the files (Rental or Customer) converted, then you pay only $100.00.
Conversion time normally takes only 1 or 2 days.
If the same version of your existing software exists in multiple stores, then you ONLY pay for the initial store and receive all other store's conversions for FREE!
Rules of ANY Data Conversions
1. When rentals are converted, all show up with a status of IN. The basic rule is the new software cannot return a rental which was NOT rented from the new software.
2. "Linking Histories" cannot be converted. Example. we could convert how many rentals a customer rented, but not the Individual titles rented.
3. How much money a customer owes for unpaid late fees can be converted, but not the exact information about for which titles the money is owed.
All this information, of course, will begin to accumulate once The Ultimate is utilized.
